You have a trade idea. Which contract?
Say what you think a stock does and by when. Strikeline turns that into a ranked list of real contracts and tells you, in plain English, what each one pays if you're right, what it costs if you're wrong, and how fast it bleeds while you wait.
Side by side
Three things it will never do
It never places a trade.
Strikeline ends at the name of a contract. You take that to your own broker and buy it there, or you don't. Nothing here connects to an account, holds money, or sends an order.
It never tells you what to think.
The idea is yours: the stock, the direction, the price, the date. Strikeline only answers the narrower question of which contract expresses that idea best for the money you're willing to lose.
Every number shows its work.
Each cost, breakeven and payoff is computed from the quoted option chain, and the quote it came from sits next to the number. When a figure is modelled instead of quoted, it says so, the way this sketch does.
